GABAergic spontaneous mIPSCs in PAG neurons isolated from normal and neuropathic rats. (A) In the presence of 300 nM TTX, 3 μM CNQX and 10 μM AP5, the application of 3 μM bicuculline completely and reversibly blocked mIPSCs in PAG neurons isolated from normal rats. The holding voltage (VH) was -60 mV. (B) I-V curve obtained from normal (open circle) and neuropathic rats (closed circle) for the mean amplitude of mIPSCs recorded at various VH. Each point is the mean of four neurons. ECl is the reversal potential of mIPSCs.
