The beginning of a CGRP exposure is indicated by the arrows. In B, firing rate is plotted as a function of temperature. In C, the average firing rates during the first exposure to CGRP are plotted for one minute segments of activity during Baseline (6.8 ± 0.1 impulses.s-1), CGRP (2.9 ± 0.3 impulses.s-1), and Washout (7.2 ± 0.1 impulses.s-1). For the bar graphs in C, standard error bars may be difficult to visualize.
