Effect of hydrogen-rich water (HRW) on neurological function and overall survival. a, neurological function; b, overall survival. Neurological score was higher in the control group than in the HRW group from 9 to 16 weeks after treatment. Overall survival tended to be longer in the HRW group (P = 0.094) but not significantly. Kaplan-Meier survival curves were analyzed by a log rank test. Neurological scores at each week were analyzed by an unpaired t-test. Values are expressed as mean ± SEM. n = 10 in each group. *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01 vs. control group.
