The stereocilias of hair cells in inner hair cells (IHCs) and outer hair cells (OHCs) of WT (A1–3) and MT (B1–3) were manifested in Basal turn, Middle turn, and Apical turn, respectively. The stereocilias of hair cells in basal turn of MT cochlea was most severe.
