The effect of EPA on Akt and CREB phosphorylation was blocked by inhibition of the Akt signal, in the presence of IL-1β in cultured rat hippocampal neurons. a Cells pretreated with KRX-0401 and then treated with EPA and IL-1β, and the proteins expression was measured by western blotting. b Relative levels of proteins were determined by densitometry of the immunoblots.
