(B) Histogram of the relative phases with a broad peak near that predicted by the fixed point in C. (C) The ts-tr plot for the model neuron (red) and biological neuron (green). Map trajectories approach the fixed point (star) from the left, but on the right they diverge and "wrap" around from the x to the y axis, causing the slippage.
