Spearman correlation of PS of young adults and children with age. Each pixel in the image represents the correlation coefficient in a given electrode (rows) and frequency (columns). The highest correlation coefficients correspond to the delta-theta range. The topographical maps of the mean of correlation coefficient for the frequency ranges indicated by lines are also displayed. Notice that correlation coefficient is more negative (better correlation with age) in anterior and central electrodes than in posterior electrodes for most frequencies.
