Behavioral flexibility was assessed at 4 (a–c), 6 (d–f), and 8 (g–i) months of age by spatial reversal learning task using the Barnes maze. At all ages, AppNL-G-F/NL-G-F and AppNL/NL mice performed equally well in acquisition of the new target hole in comparison with WT mice, as indicated by decreases in the number of errors (a, d, and g), latency (b, e, and h), and distance (c, f, and i) across the reversal sessions.
